Andrew J. Lewis MSc
Andy received his Master of Science from Writtle College, University of Essex, England in Conservation Management in September 2008. He read Business Studies for his BA (Hons) at North East London Polytechnic which he received in 1981. Andy’s mainly IT based career has seen full lifecycle roles including Program Management at Lotus Development European Corp. (Now IBM Lotus) working on the Internationalization of their 1-2-3 and Symphony spreadsheet products.
Andy has worked as a Prolog programmer on a Home Office expert system programme, and worked in a variety of roles in the City as an MS-Access application developer. He also worked at HP Labs in Bristol as a contractor. Early career moves included a period at Hewlett Packard Ltd at Pinewood and Bracknell as a Commercial Analyst specializing in support of the Customer Support Centre, Winnersh. Since graduating from Writtle, Andy has been busy trying to establish a green-facing business portfolio, including an early look at reedbed sanitation, sadly not conclude-able. Having developed skills in webinar production and hosting, he is now cross-training & developing in the new programming environments of mobile phone apps. Andy enjoys science, blogging, debate, philosophy, volunteering for the RSPB and watching Rugby.
Andy has conducted Phase1, NVC and Common Standards Monitoring surveys, and is looking to gain synergy from existing and new skills. He has attended a 'How to create videos' course at Bracknell Arts Centre, Berkshire. He also volunteers at a nearby SSSI reserve, currently surveying dragonflies. Please click here for Contact page.
